Welcome to the Dolores Ranger District , San Juan National Forest! A beautiful and
diverse area, full of recreational opportunities on nearly 600,000 acres. The district
has 11 campgrounds, one that accommodates horses and 7 group sites for camping and/or
picnics, plus scenic historic markers, and natural trails.
